In the Amazon, Bobinsana is called the Legendary Daughter of the Tree of Light and the Mermaid of the Amazonian River. A small riverbank tree, pink-and-white flowers in feathered tufts like exotic birds. For the Shipibo-Conibo, she is semein — the plant of the heart. The one who disarms the armour trauma has built, restores the capacity to give and receive love, opens dreams toward their deepest emotional dimension.
Bobinsana is revered for four gifts that curanderos have recognised in her for generations:
