INFUSE Dream Elixir — the bridge toward the worlds of deep sleep
A composite elixir built around the dream path: verified Blue Lotus, Bobinsana, Calea Zacatechichi, Wild Poppy. A spagyric preparation. For those who seek a sleep that nourishes — not only one that repairs.

Deep sleep is not an absence of consciousness — it is a form of intelligence. The traditions that developed dream practices — Mazatec, Xhosa, pharaonic Egypt, Tibetan lineages — knew this. Some plants carry a particular affinity with that space. The INFUSE Dream Elixir is shaped from that knowledge.
Composition — the four gateways
Verified Blue Lotus (Nymphaea caerulea) — the flower of the Nile. Nuciferine and apomorphine — a gentle dopaminergic action, a deep relaxation without sedation. Used by the ancient Egyptians in their dream ceremonies since at least 3500 BCE. An Apocynaceae, not a true lotus (Nelumbo). INFUSE works only with authentic Blue Lotus — see the dedicated article on the authenticity crisis.
Bobinsana (Calliandra angustifolia) — the heart tree of the Amazon. Used by Shipibo-Conibo curanderos as a master plant for opening the heart and the dreams. A cold maceration in spring water, no distillation — the plant is delicate. She works on the emotional quality of the dream, not on its intensity.
Calea Zacatechichi — the leaf of God of the Mazatec. An oneirogen documented clinically (Mayagoitia et al., 1986 — a significant rise in dream activity, more frequent recall). Bitter, strong, to be honoured. Traditional dose: a few leaves infused before bed, completed by a fumigation.
Wild Poppy (Papaver rhoeas) — the field poppy. Not opium — no morphine. Rhoeadine and its own alkaloids, a gently relaxing action on the nervous system. The flower of the First World War, the flower of memory. She calms without knocking you out.
Preparation — the spagyric method
The INFUSE Dream Elixir follows a two-phase preparation inspired by the spagyric tradition:
Phase 1 — Hydroalcoholic maceration of the individual plants. Each plant is treated separately, at its own optimal temperature and duration. Blue Lotus: cold maceration (40% alcohol, 4 weeks). Bobinsana: a short decoction + maceration. Calea: maceration at 25% alcohol, 3 weeks. Wild Poppy, fresh petals: maceration at 40% alcohol, 2 weeks.
Phase 2 — Cohobation and assembly. The four tinctures are brought together in a specific ratio, then returned to a common maceration for 1 week. The result is filtered, tasted organoleptically, then bottled.
No chemical standardisation by HPLC. No isolate. The whole plant, the full retinue, the synergies.
Use and context
The Dream Elixir is not a sleeping pill. It does not "force" sleep. It makes the conditions for a fuller night — more dreaming, a richer texture of sleep, an easier dream atmosphere.
Best context: 20–30 minutes before bed. A few millilitres in a little warm water or lavender hydrosol. A dark room, silence or soft natural sounds. An intention set (what am I seeking in the dream tonight?).
Occasional use recommended — not daily over the long term. Dream plants work best in cycles: 5 days on, 2 days off, 3 weeks maximum per cycle.
Red lines
Pregnancy and breastfeeding: avoid. Contains alcohol (final strength ~25–30%). Calea Zacatechichi can interact with anti-epileptics. Do not combine with prescribed sedatives or benzodiazepines. People with a history of dissociative disorders should assess with a practitioner.
