Guarana is a rich plant that contains *guaranine* as the main active substance. Guaranine has the same chemical composition as caffeine, but its effects are 4 to 7 times more potent — and are not followed by the typical caffeine crash one can feel with a caffeinated substance like coffee.
Guarana also contains many vitamins (A, E, B1, B3 and PP), minerals (Calcium, Magnesium, Iron, Potassium, Phosphorus), tannins, and amino acids.
